Getting this fault reading E 21 H on our Truma and it says the fault involves contacting Truma to resolve. Has anyone had this problem and if so how was it resolved.

Some times it will clear by itself, sometimes if you switch the 12v off while it is on it will give you an error code.

Try switching everything off and start again....

Edit. #21 suggest a temprature sensor/ cable/ fault.......have a look around the sensor.

Tried switching everything off and it made no difference at all. Where is the sensor, is that the black bit above the Truma control.

No attempt to start at all. Heating doesn’t fire up and the fan does not start at all.

Shame. Just wondered as I had this issue.

On mine I switched the boiler off, then pulled the fuse for the control panel to kill it completely.
I then left it 5 minutes, replaced the fuse to switch the control panel back on, left it another minute and switched the boiler back on.

It then tried to start for about 30 seconds and then the same code came up (could hear boiler and fans during this time).

I repeated the above and it started working again.

E21H is listed in the manual as "Room temperature sensor or cable faulty"

The sensor is a thermistor whose resistance depends upon the temperature.

On our last van we used to get random errors including that one, particularly when using the timer, ours was 2014, a software upgrade cured it.

They are about £35 each! often special order.
Test it first with a multimeter on ohms range. Should get a reading in the 1K ohms or less

Not sure how you switched the boiler off. Was that a fuse as I just pulled the fuse out for the control panel to get it zeroed but the fault reading was instantaneous, with no fan or boiler noice, when the power came back on.

You were quite correct in your assessment of the situation. I didn’t read your post till the next day. I remember hitting a pothole on the road and that caused the sensor to become disconnected and the boiler to stop working. Took it to the local Truma dealer in Inverness to get it fixed.
Unfortunately on leaving the mh by the side door I managed to break a pin on the locking mechanism, which means I can get out the door , but once it’s closed, cannot open it from the outside.
It’s not always fun and games being trailer trash.

Your door problem seems to be a recurring Rapido issue! Happeneded to us as well with the exact same problem as you. There is also another Rapido hab door lock thread on MHF as well. If you figure out how to replace the key barrel let me know please! - I think you may need a special key as far as I can tell.
