I sold the MO HO on Monday, reported the transfer online at 4.30pm and today received the cheque for refund of duty. Also received the notification of transfer. The cheque now paid into the bank using the HSBC app, job done!

Also when I transferred the reg. number off the van no problem at all ,and new reg. doc. in about 3 days. However now I want to put the reg. from the MO HO on to the car, and put the one from the car onto a certificate. Not so simple, I have to download a paper form fill it in and send a covering letter as well as the old reg. doc. wish me luck, I don't think this will be as easy.

I did something similar, but I put the one from the car on to a certificate online, the car then reverts to its original number.

Once you have that confirmed (about a week) transfer the moho number to the car online.

The only possible snags would be if your insurers charge you for the change and/or you don't have physical number plates for the original car number (I did have the plates & my insurers do not charge for number changes)

The car has has the reg. from new so we don't have any plates. But we can do it by post.
