DVLA - filling in form to uprate/change tax class - can u help pls? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

SVTech have sent forms back for chassis uprate.
Can anyone advise how to fill in Section 3, “I declare that this is a goods vehicle for which I am claiming exemption”
Do we tick this to allow for standard MOT?

It is not a goods vehicle so I wouldn't have thought so.
Used SV Tech to update our last van, they gave us a sheet telling how to fill in the paperwork.
I would give them a ring they will know.

I disagree Lenny, it is a goods vehicle and this section will make it a private goods vehicle.... IE: HGV (PLATING) test exempt.

But i do agree.... SVTECH should be the first line of enquiry

Hi Mel, yes.
I’m only looking for a specific question re filling in Section 3 of the V70. We’ve already paid our money, for better or for worse, to SV Tech and the new plate has been sent along with the documents to return to the DVLA.
