As you say the offices are closed, I sent off some V5's 12 weeks ago and they finally arrived back yestarday, so it looks like a waiting game.

Ah that’s good news 👍I sent my V5 off for weight upgrade days before lockdown and knew staff would be furloughed so was wondering when things would get moving.

I sent mine off for renewal weeks ago but still not back, just got to wait until it turns up.

Sent my C1 plus medical off two weeks ago , got an email yesterday from DVLA acknowledging receipt and they were only dealing with key workers and trade applications and I could drive as long as a doctor hasn,t told me I shoudn,t

Apparently some staff are back this week.
My wife got an email yesterday saying they had received her application, she sent it on the 23rd March. Sent mine on 4th May I've not heard anything yet.

My wife's licence is now showing as renewed online, just need mine now.
So it looks like they are working again, I use "working" in the loosest possible sense.

My wife applied for C1 renewal in February, medical forms etc sent, still waiting. Had a letter saying could continue driving until sorted.

I got my car registration in new address sent to me in about two and half weeks. No sign of licence. It’s ok driving in this country as police can tell via database who has a licence, any penalties etc.. Might be a problem out if UK though.

They have just started back to work and are accepting mail now. Probably a backlog so don’t be in a hurry.

Wife received her licence today and they got it right, miracles do happen.
Mine is still showing as expired.

Ditto. I suppose we’ve got to remember that they’re in Swansea (Wales) which has had a far more severe lockdown than England. At least we have the plate stuck onto the vehicle if stopped.
