Yep, it arrived yesterday after 15 x weeks, but only after I submitted photographic evidence of the documentation and tracking receipt via email. They tried to get me to apply for a new V5, for which there would have been a charge. 😠

Cheers,

Jock. 🙂

3 months of back log plus a very busy time!
It will come eventually.......................................hopefully.............................

My change of address on the car registration thing came back within 4 weeks. No sign of my driver’s licence though.

New log book received within 10 days after private plate was retained online. However, my wife’s private plate had to be done manually by post, don’t ask why ? and has not been dealt with yet, taken 4 weeks so far.

I rang and managed to speak to a helpful chap who told me that the system said it was in progress (I sent it before lockdown) and I would eventually get it, but he couldn’t say when. In the mean time, he said the new plate affixed to the van would suffice as evidence if stopped.

Nope still waiting for logbook for motorcycle

having said that I did address change on v5's and licence and they were back the following week.

Driving license received last Wednesday after 10 yearly renewal carried out online on the Sunday morning 4 days before. I think the issue is humanoid, if you need something altered, address for example, then a bod has to check things, if all you want is a date altered, as in my case, then computer says....... YES!

Cheers!

Just changed to private plate on the van and changed ownership of my mothers car into my sons name. All the V5’s came back within 10 days so looks like they are back to normal on that at least.

Just looked on DVLA website and saw the upgraded weight for our van is now registered
on their system. We sent the paperwork on 19th May and told by SV Tech it would take a
little longer due to the pandemic. I don’t think that’s too bad. Hopefully the V5 and refund
should follow very shortly. Well pleased. Looks like things returning to normal at DVLA.

My MH comes within the last batch(up to 31st July) which will get a six-month extension on MOT

DVLA have reportedly being waiting till about a week before each vehicle's MOT is due to extend it, which might have been understandable when they did not know how long the scheme would last, but now the end of the scheme has been fixed as 31st July, why do they not issue the extension for all affected vehicles in one hit?

15 v5's sent in early March. Just got some of them to new owners now.

They are so called sending them in batches.

Yes mine arrived back last week and I sent it off in March. Strange thing is the cheque has not appeared in my account yet as being cashed ! May have got away with one but i won't hold my breath :giggle:

Our MOT should have been done on or before Thursday and the database only showed the extension on Monday.

We'll get it done as soon as we are told by our own GP that it is safe for us to travel.

See this thread. We appear to have been lucky!

I got my log book back after 8 or so weeks so they are waking up. My van conversion was classed as van with windows because it doesn't look enough like a camper apparently so they're not that awake yet...

I didn’t realise I could have changed licence address online. I just followed postal address details on log book.
i photographed photo licence but only the front, didn’t think to photograph the back and you need details on that to renew online. I suppose it’ll turn up eventually.
Suvvi , I had to prove mine was a camper by providing a photograph of the table! The photos of the bed, toilet, shower and kitchen weren’t enough proof, apparently. I set the table with tablecloth, crockery, cutlery and glasses just in case they mistook it for a wardrobe or a bookcase 😊 Was tempted to add a vase of flowers.

Hollyberry I don't blame you. They have said internally it is fine however it doesn't have the permanent external features which will either be a wind out awning which is always an option even on coachbuilt or a 2nd Window on one side which I wasn't incorporating for the sake of it as I have 3 roof lights. As it's so enforcement agencies can easily identify the vehicle, I will be asking the officer what they think they have stopped then get it in writing! ;)
