Has anyone been to Duxford air show in a motor home, if so where do you get parked, looking to use the van during the day if possible. Thank you.

Been to many Duxford airshows with the van but have always been working on a stand at the show.
From the days when we used to go as spectators all the parking was on part of the old MOD site across the main road from the field. You then walked through the ticket barriers and across the main road on the pedestrian bridge to access the airfield.
All that means you are unlikely to get much access to the van during the day, unless of course they have changed the parking.

Richard.

I have been to Duxford many times but never in the van as l have a friend who lives close by.
There is ample parking for vans and you could return to it at any time although l doubt you can overnight there.
There are always a good number of tents, caravans and motorhomes that overnight in a field fairly close to the show but l am sorry l don't know the name of it.

2006 (ish) we went to the B of B event, on arrival we asked about the Disabled parking (SWMBO has a blue badge). Finished up parked up near the big hanger almost on the front-line, courtesy of a very obliging couple of Stewards, who escorted the R-V into the Airfield!. As we had the grand-kids with us they where "over the moon". "Er indoors" sat and watched most of the event from the seat in the R-V.!
