Thinking of going next week, access looks good, any entertainment in the evening?

We had three nights there last year, nice site well run and near the sights. We walked along the coastal path to Lulworth Cove.
Don`t remember any entertainment though.

Was down there on holiday a few weeks ago, swimming in the sea and through durdle dor archway, beautiful hot weather, what a lovely area.
We were staying in a cottage, I chatted to a lovely Scottish couple staying at the campsite, there are some pitches on the grass overlooking the sea, cracking views.

The Scots guy said''We could have got a bleeding hotel for this price'' ''£46 per night''

There was a big RV there too Olley, on the grass pitch overlooking the sea, access fine.

It is a glorious area, wife struggled a bit on the way back up, its very steep, but so worth it, stunning views and swimming out of this world depending on the weather of course.

I have more in common with a brick than a dolphin, so probably won't be swimming.:D
Booked for three days next week. (y)

Well we got here Tuesday, got a nice sea view and the sun was shining, only problem was if want a sea view you just have to accept being at 45 degrees, to say the sites isn't level is understatement. :)
The pitches are on a hill that slopes down to the water 300' below. So you need to raise the front and one side to get level.
Even with blocks under my jacks and with my front wheels off the ground we are still not level.

Its about 300' feet down to the beach, or you can walk up 150' along the coastal path and then down 450' to Lulworth Cove, which is ok, it's just a slog coming back for us old pensioners.:(:)

Nice view though, well except for all the tourists.:)

Looking down on Lulworth Cove from the top of the hill, doesn't look far does it.
