Have you tried Park 4 Night and all the others?

According to Campercontact

We wrongly ended up wilding at 3am outside the museum at Dunkirk, only realised after a few hrs kip where we actually were. Was quiet and no one moved us on.

I think it was Radio 4 yesterday saying illegal immigrants are staying around Gravelines... be careful.. Also they are stealing small sailing craft to reach uk...authorities are estimating around 2000 illegals in Dunkirk area..

We found a place on camper contact a few miles inland in a forest car park unfortunately my navigator hasn't filled in the log so can't give precise location
She has been suitable reprimanded

We have used the terminal car park at the car ferry port. Well patrolled by police and felt quite secure

We are at the park and ride tonight at the harbour seems OK just now last bit of site seeing tomorow before we go home
Bill

Just for the record we wildcamped in the port and had a superb quiet night. There are so many "vacent" locations around the port yet a few minutes walk to the centre and shops notwithstanding the historic back drop to the town itself. Gets a big thumbs up from me.
