Dumfries Guid Nychburris & Aviation Museum 15 to 18 June 2018

The rally will be held at the Dumfries Aviation Museum and over Dumfries Guid Nychburris weekend, the town holds events all week with the main events being on the Saturday.

The Rally will be held at Dumfries Aviation Museum which sits about 3 miles from Dumfries town center, we will be provided with tap for fresh water, either the use of their own waste tanks or a separate one which they will supply for our sole use. They will also give us use of a room for socialising when the Museum...

The Museum have been in touch today with a price for the weekend, its came in slightly more than he thought due to the cost of emptying their sewage tank before and after the meet.

The price for the whole weekend will be £35 per van this price is on the assumption we have 40 vans and includes unlimited access to the museum (normally £4.50 per visit each), use of toilets with ability to empty cassettes, water and the use of a room for social gathering for the Friday and Saturday nights. If we can get hold of the Funster event shelters then that would be even better.

We will be allowed access from the Thursday to the Monday, although with other commitments I wont be able to get there until early Thursday evening so it would be after 5pm before access was allowed.

I will PM a couple of others to take advice on how best to gather deposits/payments and get back to everyone regarding this.

I did notice I wasn't on the list but I'm sure no one will mind if I squeeze in

As for the Garden I'm actually out for dinner on Friday night with a couple of friends and one of the wives is the friend I know that works for the trust, if I ply her with a few glasses of wine I might get her to agree to anything
