Dull and needs shined up (1 Viewer)

Hi there , am new here so here goes , around 2 month ago I purchased a rapido 743f 2007 plate , we are now off here and there every fortnight (loving it ) so everywhere we go i am noticing that every other mh is shinny , mine seems to have lost its sheen , has anybody applied polish themselves and buffed it , is it easy enough or should i seek professional help !! Any hints tips or advice welcome , thx in advance

There’s lots of opinions but you won’t go too far wrong using some Autoglym products from any Halfords and give it a good wash then some polish…

Sounds cheaper than what I’m thinking so might be a good starting point

clean, good quality polish followed up by a decent wax to give it back it's showroom shine

If the main body of your motorhome is plastic, gel coat, then look on Youtube for boat polishing techniques. They also give ideas on products. A bog standard autoglym is not going to take flat dull gel coat to high shine. It needs more than that. I use Starbright marine stuff which is great and easy to use.

Mind was also dull when I got it, but with plenty of care is now looking good. (My motorhome is far right of picture. )

Did all mind by hand, but a buffer polisher would be quicker, and get results easier. The roof is the only bit I’m not happy with now. But it’s a bit of a PITA with ladder in the road etc.

Mine too is an older van than most on here
