Had a lovely weekend at our field looking the animals, came to start the 2016 Encore 275 to find no battery power, only listened to the radio for an hour.

Tried the jump leads from the hab battery and then another car to only have the gauges work but just click click click from the engine bay.

Is it that the battery is duff.....any suggestions welcome even the ones you know you shouldn’t give.

Took photos of the battery but cant see any amp figures, does anyone know the correct battery to replace with.

Many Thanks

Could be a faulty earth cable, did you jump it hooked up to the cab battery terminals or from the engine jump connections?

Thanks for your reply, I tried both the actual battery and the connection in the engine bay

Could it be something to do with the immobiliser??

if the lights dimmed when you turned the key and you heard the clicks then it could be the battery, if lights stayed reasonable bright, it could be a starter motor issue. Try cleaning the push on spade connections on the starter motor. Or give it a wack with a plastic mallet. (y)

Same as mine jumped from car and two battery packs just clicked. New battery im afraid. Got mine from Halfords told them ive forgotten my trade card no problem sir use ours.
