Our new Adria has a duckboard in the shower.
I assume we should remove this when using the shower?
Will it prevent (or cause) future cracking of the shower tray?

Personally, I would remove it whilst using the shower, then replace it afterwards to stop your feet from getting wet when using the rest of the bathroom

Our's is removed when showering, as per instructions in the owners manual. Additionally, I cut up one of those interlocking foam floor pads to the exact same shape of the tray, the duck board then sits on that when the van is being driven, and also acts as a splash guard stood upright behind the 3/4 length folding door, thus keeping the WC. lid dry when showering. Being foam, it is light weight, and warm to the foot it is also ideal to put back on the shower floor in between him and her showering, but still needing the shower room space.
