At times my amber side lights stay on when the lights are switched off and only go off when the ignition is turned off. Which is not a major issue as I just have additional amber day running lights and once the ignition has been turned off, they stay off until the side lights are switched on again. The problem is intermittent - at the moment they are working as normal!
I suspect a sticky relay; which from where I can hear it clicking, is located in the bottom of the drivers side B pillar.
But as this is buried underneath the converters connection box, which will have to me removed to access the relay, it would be good to buy a replacement beforehand, that I can fit at the time that it is all dismantled.
So does anybody know the actual part number or type of relay that Fiat use for the amber lights on the XLWB 6.4m Ducato panel van?

You are lucky to have a physical relay, many modern vehicles had a solid state device located within a body control module or similar.

Thanks Rod.
I am not sure that it is a physical relay, only that I can hear a relay type click sound from within the bottom of the B pillar. I am hoping someone will reply with more detail of what is actually in the pillar........

Dall If it is any help , The Fiat van converters manual has information regarding the B pillar wiring (for X290 series , but X250 appears to be much the same) , it can be found on page 3 of Manuals for Motorhome Stuff , which can be found in the resources section , in the forum menu . (section 3.19 relates to the marker lights)
