I’ve been convinced by the son in law that the self inflation repair kits are rubbish and I should carry a spare . Any recommendations of where to buy a spare wheel and tyre for my 2019 ducato based chausson?

Not sure if you have already looked, but it’s worth checking if a cradle to hold a spare wheel is fitted to your Motorhome. Sometimes they use the spare wheel space to mould waste tanks etc and a spare wheel is a big lump to find a home for otherwise.

Have a look on eBay, I picked up a new genuine Fiat wheel for £70. Often get sold off by wheel suppliers after changing customers vehicles to alloys.
If buying from aftermarket suppliers check the load rating they are often a lot lower than genuine Fiat ones.

What size are your wheels and tyre as I have 5 x 15" wheels fitted with 215/70R15 CP Continental Vanco Camper which I have removed from my van as I have upgraded to 16" wheels.
