Went to top up the screen wash today and found the filler pipe had come loose from the bottle.
Played about a while trying to attach it again but failed miserably.

Has anyone had this problem and how did yo get it solved?

Do you have any pics of the offending parts.

Try putting the plastic pipe in hot water for a short time, it will become softer and more pliable. If possible consider putting a small jubilee clip or plastic zip tie on.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, Been away for a few days

I had already tried the hot water trick along with a piece of wood jammed in the filler to get more leverage due to the lack of space.
The problem is when you apply force to try and insert the spout the flexible part bends and so moves out of alignment.

You're trying to push a dry plastic pipe into a dry rubber grommet.....
A smear of vasiline around the end of the spout.... Just enough to coat the ridge on the end.

Pop the headlight out and all will be revealed. 👍

You could try removing the headlight as you can then touch the top of the tank

Thanks you all for your advice.

Finally got round to it today and mission accomplished.

Removed the headlight as suggested, and a little lube on the spout.
even then it was still a struggle to get it to fit.
I don't think it is coming out again and can only guess it was not fitted properly in the first place
