Help request! My New Ducato PVC with the latest Pioneer 9" head unit has appalling radio signal reception which I am guessing is down to the standard Fiat Aerial. Is this a common issue on the current Fiat Ducato? If so I'd very much appreciate suggestions as to a fix.

We have the same radio. Wouldn't say reception is appalling but it's not brilliant either. No sign of a DAB aerial anywhere.

No experience of newer vans but all older Ducato/Boxer seem to have common poor radio reception. In the past I have added a quality Dab aerial stuck to screen and also streamed radio instead.

Dab reception is zilch. FM is ok if strong signal and stationary but otheriwise it seems to drift and get hissy, almost as if the aerial plug has not been pushed in. Think it might be going back for a check up. I suspect the standard Fiat aerial is not up to it!

I had Dab working with mine on handover, but not for long and there were places where it dropped out (also Pioneer head unit and standard FIAT antenna above cab). FM seems OK so I can't be bothered to try to get DAB back.

Dab works but not the best, going to mention it to the dealer. It does sound as if your aerial isn't connected.
I tend to use Android Auto with UK Radio to stream radio stations
