Our outside air temperature gauge starts out with an optimistic reading (maybe 3 degrees too high) and over-reads even more so when driving. I guess it is a duff sensor?

Does anyone know where it is located, and how simple it is to obtain and fit a replacement?

Thanks...Keith

We have 2013 A class hymer on a fiat chassis. Also unable to find external air sensor. Will be following this thread in hope.
Asked hymer at dusseldorf show but no info forthcoming....

It's on the off side (drivers side) mirror on ours
You should see a small round knob on the underside of the cover

Dont forget OP has an A class, so no fiat cab or mirrors.

In my Rapido (LHD) A class it was in the drivers mirror.

Had an A-class Euromobil. Think the sensor must've been under the bonnet (if not attached to the exhaust) judging from the temperatures displayed after we stopped.
