2.8jtd on a Ducato maxi chassis 2003 , ( Rapido 710 )

Just changed the whole original system .
Found out that the front pipe does not have a cat so it has taken a bit of sorting out .:Eeek:

If any one else has the same system ......

The front pipe is from the 2.5 lt system .
The rear silencer system is the 2.8lt system .
Total cost including the 2 fixing kits , £171.

Had it been the cat system it would have been £295 .

chassis cabs, especially cab only (push-me-pull-me and they are supplied two cabs bolted back to back) are often two or more years old before conversion. The registered date is just that.

This would make yours around 2001, which would tally with the non cat system. If it has a silencer, rather than a Cat, is will be around 2000/01 - if it is a straight through pipe, it could be older still.

:I went through all the models and variants with the supplier , the chasis comes out as a 2002 ,

We believe the problem lies with the positioning of the Exhaust System in relation to the continental door and also the Electric step .Hence the use of the shorter cat less pipe .

The main reason for the post was not for me , but for others that have a Ducato and need to replace their system . Your comments may be of assistance to them ,:thumb:
