Ducato Maxi Axle Upgrade

Anyone upgraded a Maxi Chassis rear axle 2500kg to higher weight limit (2700kg), not sure if this is possible or not so thought someone on here would know. Van is 4250kg which I know I can up to 4400kg but that does not up rear axle.

I take it you have an AL-Ko chassis, to uprate the axle to 2700 you will need to fit Semi or Full air rear suspension semi around £2k, full £4k. You will probably also have to change the wheels and tyres, if you have steel wheels they may be OK, you need to check the load rating. if camping tyres they will need changing to a tyre with a higher load rating.
