Still making mistakes! But they're not as costly.
My friend ( not a Funster) has a S Reg Fiat Ducato. It has the usual problem in that the gearbox has failed and he can't move from first to second and third to forth.
Any advice on where to get a recon replacement please?

Sorry, cannot answer your question directly, other than to say we have a FIAT Ducato based MH, vintage 1991. Your friend might need to hold his breath and be brave as we have just forked out €1790 for an exchange box here in Spain to which must be added labour costs etc. Plus clutch which we decided to have changed as the mechanic was in there anyway.

Regards, Bryan

many many years! since I was a kid
stacks of them in breakers yards or send the original to a gearbox specialist for repair. I note your location and see it will be difficult/more expensive than usual, but there are cost effective solutions

about £300 delivered from sellers on ebay second hand

over £1000 for a reconditioned unit
