I have read here that they are difficult to fit and so warmed them in the sun and then finished them off with a hair drier, then applied a generous coating of washing up liquid. Pushed the guards on as square as I could, but seem to have come to halt before the guard is flush with the front edge of the mirror, as the maker recommends, and the temperature sensor is not centered in the hole provided - more centered on the front edge of the hole provided
Inside edge of MirrorGuard is flush with mirror, so why is the sensor just under it, not lined up with the hole?
The sensor hole is "packed" off from the MirrorGuard, so it probably does not need to lineup exactly with the hole
The outer edge of the MirrorGuard is 3 - 4 mm short of being flush with the front edge of the mirror, but seems tight up to the back of the mirror and I cannot move it forward anymore
Question is - Am I done? Is it fitted correctly or do I need to remove and try again?
TIA
