I appreciate that the comfort-matic system is different from a full auto g/box clutch and I have a simple question. Manoeuvring our MH on and off our drive is a slow business and I wonder if the system is slipping the clutch as I dribble it carefully in and out of its parking space. If it is being slipped is it therefore at risk of being damaged?

As far as I know as long as you are moving the clutch is engaged and movement is controlled by the revs.
If you were to hold it on a hill with the revs then yes it is likely slipping the clutch. USE the handbrake! no need to put it in neutral just keep off the gas until you want to move
In reverse if you lift off the accelerator it will drop out of gear so no chance of slipping it.
