Hi
I have a 2011 Bessacarr E425. Like most motorhome it can be a bit noisy on bumpy roads. I was thinking about fitting air suspension buffers to the rear suspension. Has anyone done this mod and does it make a difference. Advice on either full replacement or just replacement of the bump stops with air bellows would be appreciated.

I went the air bellows route ,it has certainly improved the ride by reducing the rolling and wallowing but it has not reduced the noise on bumpy roads at all . The air assist has improved the Stance of the van it now looks “right” so I am very pleased vb kit and would highly recommend it .

I fitted rear air bellows to my Fiat chassis in place of the bump stops.
Very very happy with it. It has made the vehicle much more stable on roads especially when passing other vehicles, and it has also helped with the crashing/bumping over poorly finished roads. I think in my situation this is due to the fact I wasn’t sitting on the bump stops (spring assisters) but about an inch off, so the bumps/bangs were caused by contacting the bumpstops. I fitted it so I had the ability to raise the rear when I wished to, and it’s great for that, and has already helped a lot a few times. All the other benefits are a bonus.

I fitted the Drive Rite system, with the digital display, and installed compressor

Last van. Ducato air suspension £259 on eBay. DIY fitted on a few hours on my driveway..
Raised back end and better ride. Go for it.
