Hi All does anybody know if there is speedo cable on the above as it's gone beserk I have just done 92 mph through a tiny village in Mablethorpe or is this an electronic gizmo that's gone awol thanks .

All electronic, there is probably a sensor on the gearbox.

Of course you haven't said what you were really doing .............. do mean it was reading high or low?

Hi Tony I think I was doing about 25 mph and the speedo was showing 92 mph have you ever done 92 through a little tiny village.

There is a VSS on the gearbox on modern vehicles (vehicle speed sensor)
