Is the waste water level monitored by the same style sensor?

If so plug the fresh water sensor into the waste sensor cabling and check if you get waste water display. You could try the other way round.

Our dt201 panel has plugs on the rear to connect both water level sensors.
You could use a meter to prove continuity of the wires.

Have you got the manual for the display, available from schaudt via their website.

SMC were very helpful and gave me my Frankia code for a EBL220 and a DT 220 B, it is 6181. I had also queried this direct with Frankia, they were initially reluctant to give it to me, but after a bit of discussion they did give me the code, the same one that SMC had given me. They did warn me to be careful with it though!

Seems 6181 is it, above copied from an earlier post on mhf.

Also remove the sensor plug from the panel completely. If the panel reads Empty with the plug removed the fault isn't the panel.
