I bought a Drywash spray ages ago, when it seemed fashionable. Today, seeing a quantity of bird droppings on the roof of the large kind, I considered washing and polishing them off. Seeing my almost full old Drywash in the garage, I gave it a go. Not only did it immediately dissolve the poo, it left a very creditable polished finish after giving it a bit of a buff-up.
Still not convinced about polishing the whole van with it without giving the van a wash first, but it certainly worked well on my dirty roof.

I think it's fair to say that some like it and some don't, the suggestion is that it doesn't do your paint much good and it leaves scratchy marks but I have not seen any proof so I will stay sat on this fence.

Oh YES I use it and other spray on things when needs must.

many many years! since I was a kid
it appears to work well till there is any grit on the surface (in the bird crap) and then you end up with scratches on your paintwork
