a very nice site close to a beautiful beach, but £30 per night, seems a lot or am I out of touch with the cost of UK sites.

Oh no... not another heated debate about pitch fees... we just got shot of last one...
I think £30 about right in this day and age but stand by for."how much" "rip off UK" and "yes very reasonable"...
Very many ideas on here how much Site Fees should be.🤣🤣🤣

I’ll certainly give it a go! (y)

The problem is, that Northumberland CC, in their wisdom, or maybe rush, to get the camp site up and running, have not yet finalised the electric hook up points, so whilst it's advertised as having EHU, they haven't as of yet and are still charging full price!

Being local, I'd highly recommend it as its a beautiful location, athough I wish it had been located nearer the lake, and for a night or two probably worth the price

Lovely location and I have been on a rally there in the past. Price is down to individual circumstances and as a solo I wouldn’t pay that but for a family I guess it’s ok. However I do agree that if no EHU then should be a discount!

Great location especially if you are a "twitcher" Hauxley nature reserve just up the road and Northumberland Wildlife Trust has just purchased a huge chunk of land next to Druridge so it will only get better.price is always subjective, some people pay a grand for a jacket others pay a pound from a charity shop.
