Hi all well it’s been 7weeks now since I had a new knee put in still doing physio and working out can’t walk to far at mo but on my feet and just started to drive my car so hope after Christmas I can drive motorhome and get back into travelling and meets take all

Found the M/H easier to drive than the car after I had mine done. The angle of the clutch pedal and seat suited me better

Hi Merv, well that's some good news for a change. Glad to hear your new knee is working OK and you have started to drive your car at least. Take it easy m8y, you don't need your van til next year, the weather is cr*p anyway.

Ps just re read your post, what do you mean you can't walk far,? Is that further than you used to walk pre op?

No Jim can’t walk as far as pre op but knee will get stronger I hope so i can walk farther how are you both doing are you going away fore winter

Our neighbour & dancing friend has had both his knees done this year. I had to give him a rollicking a couple of months ago. After he had the second one done on a Saturday I caught him mixing concrete with a cement mixer on the following Tuesday.
