We are driving to Spain via France and back, so anyone know what paperwork and test we need to go and then to come back.

We've just driven to Benidorm via eurotunnel. When you book the tunnel you tick the vaccinated box and it then tells you to bring proof when you travel, also on that same Web page you fill in the usual advanced passenger information.

We took proof of vaccination got through the NHS app. You have to register properly and you can then print off an a4 sheet each with the Q code proof on it.

And that's it, all very straightforward

Plus you have to fill in and sign the French declaration of honour, ie you don’t have Covid and haven’t been in contact with anyone who has.

Yes I remember that page, did it digitally with the "Complete this step now" link.

I'm no expert so I might have done it wrong but I remember the website saying Completed, now take proof of vaccination with you, or words to that effect.

I remember the things you have to do go green with a tick at the side when you've completed them, the website said everything was done and we travelled without a problem

Like you I did it online but also printed them out……was a Boy Scout, be prepared.
Didn't want to give those dastardly French customs bods any excuse for being awkward.
