I'm a newbie
Morning all, just wondering is anyone going out for a drive in their Motorhomes in this current lockdown, just to give it a run, or is it illegal?

Gave it a run the day before lockdown. It is now covered and will stay that way until lockdown lifted.
It is not essential, please don't bend the rules, stay at home folks.

We have 2 cars and 3 adults working. My husband does try to ride the motorbike but when the weather is really cold it’s too dangerous so he has to drive it to work very occasionally.

I’m not aware that we are being told what vehicle we are meant to use for essential travel or going shopping for essentials.

That's true. But its about personal responsibility on that one. The OP asks is it ok just to give it a run? I guess the answer is down to how long it goes on. In general it will be a NO.

If you find an excuse then it comes down to your conscience at the end of the day.

Interesting article on BBC news where a judge is criticising the police for enforcing guidance and not sticking to the law.

I just run it off the drive and up and down our cul-de-sac.
