I'm a newbie
Has anyone driven from Grenoble to Briancon via the Col du Lautaret (the D1091)? There seems to be lots of tunnels, and a mountain pass. Would this be difficult driving a large motorhome? Any height restrictions or tight hairpins? (We are novice motor home drivers!)

Yep, now they've repaired the road it's much easier (y)

The tunnels are avalanche tunnels and are huge, You'll do it no problem.

I'm pretty sure coaches use that route in the ski season.
