Driving into Portugal and back out, Passports? (1 Viewer)

What does a UK national have to do about passports or stamps if you go to Spain by ferry, drive to Portugal then back to Spain and leave by ferry. I realise passports will need to be stamped when entering Spain from the UK and when leaving Spain for the UK but do we need a stamp when going into and leaving Portugal? How and where would this get done if necessary?

No the EU countries technically have no borders you can enter at any EU border and leave by any EU border. You do not have t enter and leave by the same place. Make sure you get your passport stamped and do not exceed your 90 days

Yes, as said no passport control in Europe as no borders but make sure your passport is stamped going in and out when you come back to the uk…

As above...One Stamp on entering Schengen One Stamp on Exiting Scheñgen...all must be within 90 day allowance...simple procedure being made difficult by many travellers...

Will all be electronic once the new system comes in it does seem a bit like playing post offices when I was a kid in the 1960's relying on rubber stamping!
