Can anyone tell me where is the best place to buy furry fitted seat covers for my Fiat Ducato driver and passenger seats please. I know Ikea sell them but they are too short.
Any Ideas please?

Thank you.

Muriel, you say fitted therefore am I right in thinking you don't just want a sheepskin to go on the seat and seat back? If you do want the full monty then I believe that Skyeskyns do a full seat cover - but they aren't cheap!!

Dunelm do some nice sheepskins at the moment, although not fitted.

Got one for my chair at home at the weekend, lovelay and comfy!

It's a double size and was £69, should give some idea of size involved

@Cal54 Yes Carol, I'm looking for the comfy looking covers that cover both back and seat. I didn't realise they were sheep skins. Do they stay put, as I can't stand anything that slips and needs adjusting all the time. Roughly what's the price for sheep skin? I thought I would do both seats to save wear but if they are megabucks perhaps just the one I sit on when on site.

We (I mean Mrs DBK) have fitted microfiber towels to ours using some bits of tape. It works very well without creases and very easy to wash when away.

Thanks for letting me know about dunelm. Nearest dunelm to me is about 30 miles but I think it'll be worth a trip to see them.

Got the sheepskin sorted - but now interested in your chair!
Do you have any info on make and/or model?

It's a Stressless Jazz chair in Aqua batik leather...very comfortable but sometimes I find it cold at night - especially as the wood burner is at the other end of the room

Chair came from Barker and Stonehouse.

Just be aware that some of the 'fluffy' seat covers moult ... I have some nice leopard print ones (see cropped photo below) but they get some 'hair balls', not a major issue but I don't think you get this with them all.

Hi Muriel, the Dunelm double skin as mentioned above is probably your cheapest option. The ones from Skyeskyns are not as large but are a great quality. I have fixed mine in place by using elastic attached via groundsheet clips. The clips can be bought at most accessory shops or the outdoor shows.

@Beacons Thanks. Do your covers moult only Minxy girl has warned me that some faux fur covers shed. £55 for a set of two is a lot cheaper than sheepskin. I realise they may have gone up since you bought them. I'm not going to a motorhome show until Malvern in August so the phone number or just the name would be marvellous. Thanks.

@Cal54
I was wondering if faux fur would do but you know the old adage "you get what you pay for". I checked the dunelm double skin £69 which isn't bad if buying one. I wanted two, but I bet if I wait to get another, they will be sold out. I'm torn between paying about £60 fit a pair of faux fur or £130 for two dunelm double. Decision, decisions!

No they dont Moult they fit very snuggly and they have for seat belts that are attached from the van and ones with sits for belts that are attached to the seats if that makes sense we bought the wrong ones at the show but I phoned and spoke to Paula who readily agreed to change them done by post in under a week so good to deal with their details are in work.so as said I'll send them tomorrow hope this helps Jan.

@Beacons thanks Jan for your help. I'm going to look at the dunelm sheep skins but only to see if I can justify paying that much. The ones you have sound good so they may end up being my choice. The contact details tomorrow would be most welcome, many thanks.

Muriel, my sister had the faux ones and in my opinion I would rather have 1 of the real skins than 2 of the faux. They are a stock item at Dunelm so you could always get the second at a later date.

many many years! since I was a kid
there are far cheaper sheep and goat fleeces available on ebay. I picked up a pair of really nice ones in xxl size for just over £40 each

Men's (or women's!) braces would work a treat and come in lots of lovely colours and patterns! Examples below:
