I am considering a driveaway awning for when we are static for 10 days at a time.
Our mh has the fridge vents next to the hab. door. This means that the exhaust from the burner will go directly into the awning. Does this mean that there will be a buildup of CO2?
The awning will be free standing, so I suppose I could erect it a few inches from the van.
Any comments?

I doubt you would have a problem, an awning is never going to be sealed enough to give a problem. We’ve used an awning fixed to an awning rail on the side of our van for 4 months with no problem.

As above, you'd have to seal every gap and put a skirt along the rear of the awning/side of the MH in order to stand any chance and you'd still have gaps, just don't to sitting right next to the vents and fall asleep with your nose pressed against them!

If the above replies don't help you could always run the fridge on 230v hookup.....assuming you aren't hoping for 10 days off grid.

Minimal risk at worst, we use a full safari room with vents into that no problems , virtually impossible to keep straights out 🤔

you could buy an extra CO (note it’s not CO2 👍) monitor for the awning just to feel safer
Er ... unless you are offering something special to 'straight' people when they enter your awning I assume you mean draughts?
