We're moving to a house with a normal width entrance to the drive on a fairly narrow road. We will have plenty of room once on the property for our Arapaho but we will have to widen the entrance to get in. We'd be grateful for assistance in how to calculate how much width will be needed to 'swing her around' taking into account the road is not a full width 2-lane road. Is there a nice and easy calculator?

You might just need a few cuts at the new drive & pay more attention to your overhang apart from that all should be well.

1. Wash some beetroot in your MH sink.

2. Go into a nice clean empty carpark.

3. Line side of MH up so that your grey waste tap is over a lane marking

4. Open grey waste.

5. Turn steering wheel to full left or right lock depending on the best/most usual approach to your new drive.

6. Drive slowly with full lock on until the MH has turned through 90°

7. Draw a line on the roadway 2.3 metres distance from, and parallel to, the nice red line your grey waste has created.

8. That is how much room you need.

9. PS. Dont forget your tape measure, pen and paper!(y):giggle:

Can you reverse in ?

If yes then width of camper plus a few inches either side;)

Thanks Barry. A nice practical approach without the need for advanced mathmatics.
