since 2014!
This is a Kampa Mini Air XL inflatable tent/awning which fixes to the MoHo with the usual slide-in attachment. It gives a corridor between the MoHo and the tent, with a zipped door at either end. We have used this only four or five times, both with and without groundsheet (included). Perfect if you plan to stay in one place for a while, or have guests to stay (or it’s raining a lot!).

There were two versions, and this is the tall one, which fits motorhomes, not campervans. I will attach some photos, if I can find them!!

In perfect condition, complete with pegs, special groundsheet, and carry bag.

Cost almost £400, asking offers around £200 plus carriage or for pick up near Redhill, Surrey

Might be interested but some pictures when you find them would be helpful. What else would be required to attach it to the motorhome?

I’ll get it out, pump it up, and take some pictures of it for you - can’t find any from when we used to use it!!

Herewith some pictures. As you can see, it’s quite compact in its bag, and a decent size when blown up. We have used it both as a supplement to the MoHo, and as a stand-alone kitchen when on a rally. As it uses air poles, it is much quieter and more resistant to winds than a metal poled version would be.

The attachment is shown in one of the pictures - just the normal rope-like edge, which will thread into a standard slot that most motorhomes have (our present awning has one in the long edge), or can easily have fitted. I have to confess that when we first bought this, our motorhome was smaller, and the easiest way to attach this pod was to throw the guy ropes over the vehicle, attaching it to the wing mirror up front, and the ladder behind!!.

I also note that I misled you on the first advert - there is only a zipped door at the back of the attachment corridor to the motorhome, but we always used to go out the front, as it was easier to stretch the elastic, than faff with the zip!!

Let me know if you want to know any more about it.

Indeed! It’s all on the card that comes with the awning, so here’s a picture of that!

According to the instructions, the “rope you can slide into a slot on the motorhome” is called a ‘Keder Beading’, and you can buy a ‘figure of 8’ extrusion from your friendly dealer, that enables the awning to be clipped to the rain gutter on the side of your vehicle! Amazing what you learn when you read the manual!!!

Let me know if you have any other questions.

I’m sorry, but size won’t work for me. Appreciate your efforts.

Hi, how much would postage be to Sway, New Forest area do you think?
Is there a ground sheet?
Sorry one more, is there a door into the corridor area, I think I can see one :)
Thank you, Nikki

Hi, Nikki,

Apologies for not replying earlier - we have been away in the MoHo, not far from you, near Brockenhurst. In fact, our favourite site is Setthorn’s, just North of you!!!

If you could let me know your postcode, I will work out the cost of sending it.

Sorry, forgot your questions! Yes, there is a groundsheet - the breathable type that doesn’t turn the grass yellow! It does have a zipped door at the rear of the “tunnel” between the MoHo and the awning.

I am amazed! Apparently, this awning, which weighs 11.5 kilos, and is 85cm long when bagged, can be sent almost anywhere in England for around 10-12 pounds!

Let me know if you are still interested.
