:yawn2::wub:Hi, I ve just joined but have been travelling in my campervan for 4.5 years just me and the dog.
I have just started a 4 week trip in France and the toilet flusher drips continuously, which fills up the casette quite quickly. Any suggestions how I might (temporarily) solve this?

Is your water a pressurised system or micro switch? If it's pressurised just switch the pump off.

Well I guess it has some sort of solenoid valve to open up to flush if you can't repair or replace the valve disconnecting and sealing the pipe might be the next best option until a full repair can be done.

I am not very practical, The pump is under one of the sofas, next is the fridge and then the toilet. I ve seen some pipes but I don't know where I would access them

If you post your van make and model somebody might have the same and know the ins and outs of the piping.

Turn the pump off, reduce pressure in the system by turning tap on until no water runs out, water will probably still run a little into the toilet bowl but not much.

Sometimes mine has done this after storage. Might be s bit of grit in the solenoid valve. I've always find it clears after a few vigorous flushes, but if not the valve might need replacing.
