A Class Burstner
Exp
Since 2014
The locking catch on on large drawin our Burstner didn’t lock…. Result was the drawer flying open whilst turning and the result are broken fittings which hold the drawer front to the actual drawer.

They are very flimsy plastic pieces and I have no idea if I can get replacements and if I can, how the pieces actually fit in the drawer sides…..

Some pics..

The two plastic pieces that are fixed to the drawer front do not lock in side the drawer sides.. they rely on the other plastic pieces which fit via the slots on the inside of the drawer sides…

Can anybody advise where I can get replacement pieces and then how do they fit back together?

Normally standard kitchen fitting but usually of German origin. When a draw flew out on my last van it damaged the runners after a lot of Googling I found the exact ones (German manufacture) at a fraction of the Hymer price.

It was ages ago and we had drawers runners like that fitted in our kitchen.
I think the two pieces in the middle of your photo are broken and should look like the piece next to them.
As you say, they should be located with the hollow drawer sides.
As it was a real pain trying to source \ replace I gave up and just built a new drawer carcass with full extension roller \ soft close runners on it.

I've just looked at my one but it is all inside the drawer sides. I can see that the support bars click and turn.
Google search as Lenny said.
Let me know if you find them - just for future reference for when I break mine

Having looked at numerous sites, it looks like I might have to do the same…Can’t seeing anything that remotely looks like the pieces I have

I will contact Southdowns tomorrow and see if they can source the parts….

You could make, or get made two blocks that you can screw on to the front and fit into the drawer sides.

Wonder if Moovit drawers (or even just the sides) might be a workable direct replacement for you?

If I had the whole drawer to work with, I could make new stronger connector blocks. Making a 3D printed replica of the original I fear would be very weak looking at your pictures.

Thanks, but am not sure about this…. It says it does not include the drawer front or fixings… ? Will dig a bit deeper

Was hoping (:pray2:) existing drawer front could maybe have been fitted by some means to it but ............
