I want to drain the coolant off and replace with new.
Does anyone know the best method of doing this on a 2.8 JTD ?
Not much on fiat forum, just an old thread saying it can't be done properly which i find surprising.
TIA

Hi. . If there is no drain cock on the radiator or block can you not just disconnect hoses top and bottom of radiator and drain..
Then remove thermostat connect a hose and flush till water tuns clear... reverse flow direction if you are fussy ...do same on the radiator.. ie flush both ways.. if it has a heater valve make sure it's open.. that should do it..

You would think so wouldn't you and must confess I've not looked yet but surprised by the fiat forum thread saying it can't be drained successfully.
Just wondered if anyone had specific knowledge
