Typical of Motorhomes silly spares prices.

Bit of a pain taking them all off though and how do you get at the ones under the shower those are the one most likely to freeze. It would be easier to blow through all the wastes to clear them of water.

On our van the same type of shower trap is not under the shower itself
It’s located adjacent to the grey tank and accessible from a hatch in the floor
Never thought about removing it in winter

Is there a pump .I can buy..?

The waste trap on my shower also froze, it has distorted the inner part of the bottle trap so instead of being cylindrical it is squashed. Still works ok though so I'm not doing anything about it. possibly by heating it in boiling water might soften it enough to reshape it. Might try when I get back home..

I wouldn't expect them to freeze unless they are partly blocked. There is only a small amount of water in the trap and plenty of space for any ice to expand.

You could pour a strong concentration of windscreen wash down the drain... that should stop it freezing.

Pour 50/50 antifreeze - water down all traps to make safe for winter , takes two minutes
