Nice shot. Interesting to see it has retracted its undercarriage to reduce wind resistance. Clever what you can do after a few hundred million years of evolution. :)

I'm no expert but I think it might be an Emporer dragonfly. Green eyes, green thorax then solid blue. The second photo on this link is very like yours.

enough to know i shouldnt touch things i know nothing about ....
I have a photo of the mother in law in a plane, would that count as a dragon in flight ?

I was asked to take a shot of her, I rushed to get up and do it until my wife said it was a shot of her, not a shot AT her. I'm often reminded I will miss her one day, to which I reply, not if I have a shotgun ...
