If the GM congestion charge applies to me at £60 per day i am seriously thinking of downplating .
We have an A class at 3650kg. How can i find out if this was done by the manufacturer because it needed to be or was done by previous owner to increase payload for their own preference ?

Don't think you will know without downplated paperwork.
Best bet is a weighbridge in holiday trim and see if it can go as low as 3500kg and still be usable then fill in the V5 weight datails and a covering letter to those Welsh wasters, DVLA.
If it can be reduced DVLA will want a cheque for the RFL.

Thanks pj i doubt i can run at 3500 but will have to ditch a lot of gear and have a go.
If you can't get down to 3500kg in 'full trim' then unfortunately you're stuffed, or you'll just have to go away taking only your budgie smugglers! :giggle:

Put all your heavy stuff in a trailer and tow that behind your motorhome.
