Dover to Calais (1 Viewer)

I've just booked Dover to Calais return leaving 22 July returning 28 August paid £63.00, hoping to make Bulgaria, the furthest I've travelled is south of France wish me luck

Sounds a good price from what ive been reading. I'm just new but hoping to tour France and Spain next year. Hope you have a great trip! Mind and do a blog or diary. The kind folk that have already uploaded theirs helps to give newbies like me an idea of expected budget costs,

We go out July 20th, back Aug 26th, DFDS Dover - Dunkirk, £53 return.

No fixed plans, but loose itinerary of Belgium, Luxembourg, Rhine Valley, Switzerland, Chamonix, Ramatuelle, then towards Barcelona, Gijon, ferry to St Nazaire, back to Dunkirk.

Can't wait.....:thumb::thumb:

Hi is there a particular day of the week that gives the cheapest ferry crossing ? ie out on Sunday but return on Wednesdays ? Cheers ivory55

We have almost 6 weeks Ivy, a few days will be "driving days" but we hope to take in rivers, lakes, mountains and beaches.. and plenty chilling, just hope the weather holds....

It may be a while before we can have the whole complete school holidays off at the same time as the boys.... the boys want "a big adventure"......:thumb:

If you do make it to Bulgaria bring your beeny hat and sun cream. Its not dropped below 30 in the shade for over a week now. The Black Sea temp is 27 and its like getting into a warm bath.
