Anybody staying there tonight ? (Ready for the ferry in the morning)
If you are talking about Marine Pde in Dover, then as far as I am aware overnighting in this location is no longer permitted/tolerated. Others will be along shortly with better info, but we drove past there 3 days ago and it was devoid of motor homes.
Was going to arrive about 7 pm , go into town , have a few drinks an a meal, then be gone by 8 am, like we did last year,
So it seems yet again Britains small minded councils are taking away local trade!
Anybody know of somewhere close to Dover to overnight?
Just spoke to Dover tourist info, and overnight parking is still allowed,
( but perhaps I,ll still wake up in the morning with a ticket on the windscreen)
Have a great time.
we shall be envious of you as we work.
Will have to catch up with you both when you get back.
have a great trip

Stayed there May 6 no problem :thumb:
We live very close and can tell you that loads of MH's, British & foreign still park there but MH's are supposed to park at the pier end on the Esplanade (close to where the Hoverport used to be). You can still park for free after 6pm until 9am. The food is very good at Cullins Yard on Cambridge road which runs parallel to the Esplanade. Looks like you'll have good weather, enjoy :thumb:
Larry I was there a month ago waiting for you. After 3 weeks I gave upoh:
