Double Skillet cooking ?

When you warm/cook pies etc do you have to put something in the bottom of the pan to stop it burning ?

OH uses a tivot (excuse spelling if incorrect being a male) from Lakeland

Bought mine last year but haven’t used it yet. I suppose you could put a grease proof cake tin liner in the bottom to heat pies etc. I do this with my Remoska to prevent damage.
