We have used two sites very different, both good.

Hook Farm, Uplyme - in October
Medium sized site, very clean and tidy, quiet, can’t hear anything other than the occasional plane a long way up. Toilets and showers very nice, you need 20 pence pieces for 4-1/2 minute showers. Dog walking straight off the site. Pub nearby although we didn’t try it. Wifi available. Not all pitches are properly level, most are.

Higher Farm, nr Beaminster, June and July
Set in a beautiful, location with far reaching views across stunning Dorset countryside. The site is within easy walking distance of Broadwindsor, very average facilities, EHU and water close to our pitch. Good 4G. One of faves as it is only 90 mins from home and the views are awesome, incredibly quiet.

Happy to use both again

Can second you on Hook Farm as stayed there this summer for our 2nd trip out in our newly acquired MH.

The site man Andrew really helpful and as you say, site is clean and peaceful. Lovely river walk from there into Lyme itself plus bonus of wood oven pizza one evening a week cooked on site to order.

Hook Farm - Charge you extra if you have a car & motorhome - cannot see what the difference is between car & caravan so why the extra charge of £3 ?

Has anyone stayed at Harts Lodge in Everton? I've just booked 3 nights there. We have stayed at Nordic Farm in the past but that's closed now due to a bereavement.
Thanks John
