I was impressed by the clear and simpleness of it, I'm not a luddite but I dont need facebook and wuntu etc I want something with a decent battery, good browsing speed and messaging etc.

Carphone warehouse has got them for £139

Thanks

Jon

Not that one but I got my dad a Doro flip phone which was very good.

Never heard of them, but in that price range there are many others to choose from.

Moto G5 to name just one.

Most of the cheap Chinese phones work well but as far as I know of the cheapies only Cubot are cleared to run Banking apps, so that could be a bit of a problem.

There are revues in the web, try YouTube. The phone appears to be designed for the less tech savvy among us, nothing wrong with that I would think it’s a good idea, even my old dad could have used it and he had trouble with the tv handset.

My neighbour has this same model. The main advantages for him are that it works great with his hearing aid and the operating system is simple, large icons and the battery life is good.
I had to set it up for him and it was pretty hard to do, the manual was heavy going, no quick version to get the basics going. His phone does seem to have a few glitches which are all down to the operating system, the hardware is ok. It may be they have put out patches to sort some of the issues I encountered, but I would be hesitent about recommending it unconditionally.
