Hello all sorry to be so demanding already but I have a slight issue, we have a what I think is called a garage on the back end of the motor home under the back bedroom, it has door either side, one side opens and closes a dream the other side will not open the pull back lock wedges dont pull back far enough for the door to open, we have to crawl through and push the two little wedge thinys over to open it, not sure if that makes sense to anyone if it does and you can help please do,

Thank you V Much

Hi

Possible the lock needs some lubrication, would not use WD40 as this attacks some plastics used in locks. Possibly some form of silicone spray, or lock spray from locksmith, dearer but good.

Cured the similar problem we had.

Since 2005
could be the latch is out of adjustment.

have a look on the doorframe part of the lock to see if it has any fixing screws which can be loosened and the catch adjusted.
