I think you're correct according to Wikipedia .. It seems @BritStops has it wrong!

Wikipedia is correct.

However....

We list the Brit Stops pub as the highest hotel in Scotland, and as Leadhills is the second highest village in Scotland, and there are no hotels in Wanlockhead...

Ah! My mistake, I knew we mentioned Leadhills as being the highest something or other, but stupidly didn't follow the reference to Tomintoul!!

Another amendment noted for the 2018 edition of Brit Stops!

Thanks Joyce and Brian - hope you're enjoying your travels. If you do find yourselves at 806, do say hi to Rab and Rachel for us - when we stayed there a few years ago, we discovered that our sons were both at university in Dundee, and doing the exact same course in the same year!
