They had been informed that JimJam and JohnRR have left the country and they are doing what they can to stop them coming back

sounds like they can only afford one set of signs then. 'The signs will be in place for 12 months and if successful, could be used at other locations in Wales. .
could also be abused to keep traffic out of "ratruns" through villages!!!!!!!

The drivers are blindly following sat navs and ignoring road signs that tell them the road is not suitable for HGV's.

so the "solution" is ?......................................................

put up another road sign, why would another sign help?
